There are different cryostats in the range between 25mm / 50mm and 70mm available. Liquid Helium as well as Liquid Nitrogen Systems are available. These cryostats offer a range of sample sizes, hold times and physical dimensions which will cover most of the applications likely to be encountered

Bath Cryostat #1


 Physical Specifications:

  • Body diameter: 261 mm
  • Top flange diameter: 295 mm
  • Overall length with insert: 734 mm
  • Sample access diameter: 24 mm

 

Operating Specifications:

  • Standard operating temperature range: 1.3 - 300K
  • Minimum temperature achievable: 1.25K
  • Liquid nitrogen hold time: 20 hours
  • Liquid helium hold time: 24 hours
  • Liquid helium evaporation: 40cc/hr and 45cc/hr
  • Pump size required versus temperature: 1.4K: 30m³/hr and 1.25K: 250m/³hr

Bath Cryostat #4 77K


 The Bath Cryostat 77K is a liquid Nitrogen cryostat, for optical and electrical experiments. This simple and inexpensive Liquid Nitrogen cryostat offer a variable temperature sample environment from 77K to 500K. An upgrade to 800K is also available. A temperatures below 77 K can be achieved by pumping on the exhaust port.

  • Sample access diameter: 61x 51 mm
  • KF25 vacuum pump port

 

Operating Specifications:

  • Standard operating temperature range: 77K - 500K
  • Minimum temperature achievable: 65K
  • Liquid nitrogen hold time: 6 hours
  • 0.4 Liter liquid nitrogen capacity
